It’s 2008.
Where are the flying cars?
The singularity is late.
My grandpa still thinks the microwave is high technology.
I sit and I look around.
The bum rifles through trash.
I wonder where the future went off track.
A child in Africa is born with AIDS.
He never gets a chance to decide his fate.
Not like me.
How does this world work?
That I, get to decide my fate.
The African AIDS baby does not.
When I see everyday I work first hand the limited attitudes and minds that use computers, I stop being suprised at Open Sources slow growth.
I’m finding my following list to be growing rapidly, to my alarm. It seems that everytime I add someone to my little photo grid of people I follow it becomes asymetrical and I can’t stop the compulsion to quickly add people to my follow list to make it look all purdy again.

i am a what you would probably call a “n00b”. even the word noob im sure is outdated which further proves my internet naivete. i easily relate to lolcats. today i created a tumblr and a del.icio.us…erm…profile? page? i dont even know the correct terminology!
technology has come so far since the times of my xpage and xanga. ive been too swept up with facebook to explore the more expressive possiblities! i had high hopes for flickr but unless you pay money you have a tight limit of images you can upload, whereas facebook is unlimited, so i quickly became disinterested.
